The FPS Games Show: sixteen shooters and a WARDOGS reveal
One night, sixteen shooters, and a WARDOGS reveal the studio says nobody will see coming. Here is when it starts where you live, who else is on the bill, and why the show exists at all.
The short version
BULKHEAD is running its own showcase. Sixteen shooters, one Twitch channel, one evening, and every studio on the bill had to bring something you have not seen before. WARDOGS has a slot, seven days before it opens into Early Access.
The stream lives at twitch.tv/thefpsgamesshow. Follow the channel now if you want Twitch to tell you when it goes live, because there is no simulcast to fall back on.
When it starts where you live
Everything runs off one clock. If you sit east of Moscow, this is an early Friday morning rather than a Thursday night.

| London (BST) | Thu 19:00 |

Who is on the bill
Sixteen games, and the spread is wider than a publisher block. You get one of the largest shooters on earth sitting next to projects built by a handful of people.
- Rainbow Six Siege, from Ubisoft, and the biggest name here by some distance.
- Escape from Tarkov
- Ready or Not
- WARDOGS, the host, one week out from Early Access.
- Gray Zone Warfare
- SCUM
- STALZONE
- Hell Let Loose: Vietnam
- Beautiful Light
- Bellum
- Incursion: Red River
- Road to Vostok
- Sand Raiders of Sophie
- Bodycam
- Terminal War

BULKHEAD says Ubisoft came to them and asked to be included. Whatever you make of Siege in 2026, a publisher that size volunteering for a showcase run out of another studio tells you this one landed with the people it was aimed at.
Why BULKHEAD built its own show
The studio walked through the reasoning in its announcement video, and it is refreshingly unglamorous. They needed WARDOGS in front of people before launch, they looked at the calendar, and the options were thin. Then they asked what a slot costs.
Underneath the price sits a second problem, and you already know this one. Sit through a general games showcase and you get celebrity cameos, cinematic single player reveals and a long middle stretch aimed at somebody else. Two games in ninety minutes might be worth your evening.
So BULKHEAD called around. They have spent years working alongside other FPS studios, and the pitch was small enough to say in one sentence: bring a shooter, bring something exclusive, nobody pays anybody. Fifteen studios said yes. The format is trailers, reveals, vlogs and updates, with no skits and no live band wedged between them.
That trade is the part we find interesting. A publisher showcase sells its slots, so the bill reflects who could afford one. This bill reflects who returned a phone call, which is how a solo project ends up on the same stage as Ubisoft.
The WARDOGS slot
BULKHEAD is sitting on something. The studio calls it a reveal nobody will see coming, and the timing sharpens it: the show on the third, then Early Access on 10 September 2026.
We will not pretend to know what it is. The release date is already public, so that is off the table. Our read, and it is a guess, is that the announcement is about scope: a mode, a map, or where the game goes after the doors come off. The alpha and the beta showed you the shooting. What the studio has never shown you is the shape of this thing a year out.
If you want to be ready to argue about it the second the trailer cuts, the beta write-up covers what the game is today, and the Field Manual has the chapters on how the Control Zone and the economy actually work.
Watch it with us
The show is on the calendar in our Discord. Press Interested and Discord will nudge you when it starts, which is worth doing given the broadcast lands at three in the morning for a chunk of the server.
We will be in there for the whole thing, pulling the WARDOGS segment apart frame by frame. If the reveal touches a map, a vehicle or a weapon, expect the site to move that same night.

- Coming back after the alpha? The TTK rankings show where every gun landed after the last balance pass.
- Want the ground learned before launch weekend? The map explorer puts towers, settlements, spawns and terrain on one board.

How to call artillery in WARDOGS
Azimuth points the gun. Elevation is what actually lands the shell, and it is the number most crews never work out.
Standard, armor piercing or flesh: which round to buy
Flesh rounds kill a bare chest in two. Put a Level 1 vest in front of the same gun and it takes eight.
How armor works in WARDOGS, and where it does not
Every vest in the game covers the torso. Below Level 4 the pelvis is bare, and that is where fights get decided.
