Getting in
- 1Press Join and accept the invite. Discord opens the server in the app or in your browser.
- 2Read the rules channel and press Check in. That opens every other channel.
- 3Pick your faction, your region and the pings you want in the roles channel.
- 4Connect Discord and Steam to your Wardogs Zone account, and your time on our servers starts paying XP.
The fourth step is the one worth doing. Once Discord and Steam are both on your account, every minute you play on our servers with the ZONE tag on pays XP, time on a server with fewer than 30 players pays on top of it, and your matches take their place on the server leaderboard. The accounts page connects them in a minute.
Our game servers
We run our own WARDOGS servers, and the Discord is where you find out what is happening on them. Each one has a card with the live player count, the map and a Join button that hands the server straight to Steam, and the server rules are posted beside the cards and kept current there. The servers page has the settings and the address for each one.
A fan community
This is not the official WARDOGS Discord. BULKHEAD makes the game and Team17 publishes it, and nobody on our server speaks for either of them, so anything about your game account, a crash or a refund goes to their support and cannot be solved here. What can be solved here is a squad for tonight, a question about the game, and anything about the site or our servers.

Is this the official WARDOGS Discord?
No. Wardogs Zone is a fan community, and the Discord is ours. BULKHEAD makes WARDOGS and Team17 publishes it, and nobody on our server speaks for either of them.
Do I need an account on the site to join the Discord?
No. The invite is open to anyone. An account on wardogs.zone only matters if you want your time on our game servers to pay XP and rank you, which needs Discord and Steam connected to it.
How do I find a squad?
Post in the squad-up channel with your region, class and when you are playing, then join the Create Squad VC channel to get a voice room of your own. Most evenings a squad is forming already.
