Reserved slot terms

A reserved slot means that when one of our community servers is full, you go in ahead of everyone playing without one. It is a priority, and on a busy evening that is the difference between playing and waiting for somebody to leave.

It changes nothing else. It gives you no advantage in a match, no extra permissions, and no say over how a server is run. Everything else on Wardogs Zone stays free for everyone, and a slot does not unlock any part of the site.

The money goes towards what the servers cost to run. That is the whole reason a slot is for sale, and it is why the price is the same €5 whether you play every night or never turn up.

A slot is reserved for the Steam account connected to your Wardogs Zone account at the moment you buy it, and the game server recognises you by that account and nothing else. Your slot is not transferable, and it cannot be lent, shared or sold on.

If you disconnect that Steam account, the slot stops working straight away, because there is no longer anything for the server to recognise. We cancel the subscription at the same time so you are not charged again for something you cannot use, and your current month runs to its end. Connecting a different Steam account afterwards does not bring the slot back. You would need to take a new one.

A reserved slot costs €5 a month, VAT included, so the figure on the page is the figure you pay wherever you are. It renews on the same date every month until you cancel it.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never to us, and all we keep is the record of which payments succeeded and what they were for. The privacy page covers what that means for your data.

We add new slots to the server within 24 hours of the payment, and usually a good deal sooner than that. Until it is in, the server treats you like anyone else, so if you buy one an hour before an evening fills up you may still be waiting that night.

Cancel whenever you like, from the billing pages linked on your payments page. Your slot keeps working until the end of the month you have already paid for, and then it stops. There is nothing to email anybody about and no notice period.

You can have a full refund of any payment within 14 days of it being taken, for any reason at all, including having simply changed your mind. Ask on the Discord and we will process it. That covers the right of withdrawal EU consumers have on a digital purchase, and it goes a little further, since we do not ask what went wrong.

After 14 days a payment is not refunded as a matter of course. If a server was down for a serious stretch of a month you paid for, tell us and we will make it right rather than argue about the wording here.

We do not guarantee a server will be online, and we do not guarantee you will always get in. A machine can fail, a host can have a bad week, and a game update can break a server for a day. We will say so on the Discord when it happens and we will fix it as fast as we can.

We may change a server's settings, move it, rename it or close it. If we close a server your slot covered and have nothing to move you onto, we will cancel your subscription and refund the part of the month you did not get.

A slot does not protect you from moderation. Cheating, or behaviour that gets you banned from our servers or our Discord, ends your access, and a slot bought before it happened does not change that. Where a ban is not your own doing we refund what you paid for the remainder of the month.

Wardogs Zone is a fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to BULKHEAD or the publisher of WARDOGS. You are buying priority access to a community server we run and pay for, and nothing about the game itself.
