Compact Solo, Duo, Offensive Base

Base design includes a few critical design choices such as forced movement through recon towers into kill boxes, space for a mortar + either anti air or CWS. Low enough on the ground for a CWS to be used in anti infantry / vehicle combat but a little exposed. Grenade catches on the side walls allow you to be covered from grenades unless they land perfectly on your platform, or into the mortar pit (Unless the sandbags on mortar towers don't actually cover you like regular sandbags but I'm pretty sure it does). The walls make it so that as long as you are in the two offensive areas, grenades should have a high likelyhood of rolling down into the fob, or into the cracks on the side of the anti air tower. The killbox entrance makes C4 gate raiding obsolete, you don't need multiple gates if they have to funnel themselves up a ladder with a gun retrieval animation that locks them in place for a second. The killbox features a nowhere to hide box with barbed wire and a one-way shooting wall. The mortar floor can be experimented with to place height advantage shooting positions allowing you to completely defend the entrance. The walls themselves are defensible due to the complete coverage utilizing Bremer Walls. The use of prefabs make this base way cheaper than it should be, and allows for ladders and a slightly faster setup time than if you didn't have them. The Supplies I start with for solo bases is always aiming for a backpack full of build, a FOB, shotgun + 1 stack of ammo, a level 3 hammer, a URAL with inventory of ammo, 1 crate of build, 1 crate of ammo. CONS: - Takes a bit to setup, not a quick pop up base. - Hard to take back if the enemy does wipe you with grenades - Linear design makes it so there are less places to hide on enemy invasion - Disadvantage in places with nearby hills and buildings. If someone has height over you the walls are a moot point. - Uses some more advanced building techniques with free placement and removal of individual prefab pieces. - You can definitely mess it up and if you do you can screw the entire build. PROS: - Not too expensive surprisingly, once it's done it's comfy. - Has jump out spots, don't need to go through the killbox - Incoming mortar fire bunkers, both on top and below - Very defensible against infantry. This build was inspired to counter infantry gate raiding. - If you WANT to use this base in a group, others can build walls around this base very easily and turn this into the central command bunker at the heart of a mega fortress.
