Everything you carry that is not a gun. 12 pieces of armor, 14 throwables, 8 medical items, 20 backpacks and pouches, 8 deployables, and the utility and supply gear that fills the gaps.
Weight and price are on every entry, and armor carries its protection value, which is the number that decides how many shots you survive.
A vest changes how many rounds it takes to put you down more than any other item you buy. It also costs the most to replace, so the right tier is the one you can afford to lose on a bad raid.
Set a helmet and vest in the damage calculator and it recomputes shots to kill for every weapon against you. That is the honest way to see whether a step up in armor is worth the money.
Backpacks list their grid, and every item lists the shape it takes up, so a pack that looks big can still refuse the thing you want to carry. Build it in the loadout planner and the pack fills in front of you, weight and cost totalling as you go.
Armor carries a protection value that cuts the damage a round does to the zone it covers. Helmets protect the head, vests the torso, and a hit to an unprotected limb ignores both. Higher tiers cut more damage and cost more to replace.
Armor runs in tiers up to Level 4, and each step cuts more incoming damage. The TTK rankings let you sort every weapon by the tier you want to survive, from a bare target through to Level 4.
Medical first, then ammunition for the gun you brought, then anything you plan to sell or deploy. Space is a grid rather than a number of slots, so shape matters as much as size. The loadout planner shows the pack filling as you add things.
Weight is listed on every entry, and the loadout planner totals it for a full kit. Heavier loads slow you down, so the last kilogram of gear is worth checking against what it does for you.
